I can't believe it, but it's true! The landlord of our apartment complex has ordered the apartment manager to repair and paint the exteriors of all the buildings on the property. This is SUCH a great thing, as we had huge holes on the exterior of our building both around the window and up around the roof.
To make matters even better (We hope) the apartment manager pounded on our door and asked Dana to help with the painting. He's being paid $10 per hour to assist with the painting now, which temporarily help us if he pays cash like he claims he will. It would also help if he'll take $$ off of the rent. Just so long as he keeps his agreement, we will be happy. He has a track record of NOT doing that though.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I'm spending the day today cleaning out my old breadmaker for my Mom, as she's said that she wants it for Mothers Day. I'd rather buy her a new one, but cash is just too tight right now. It's been a looong time since this thing has been used, so it will be interesting to watch and see how it goes.
No word on what we can do with Sincy or her kittens yet. Ruby should have come home last night, but she didn't. I have no idea when she plans on moving. I renewed my ad on craigslist this morning, so we'll continue to be patient and hope.
Ciao!
